Northridge Sewer Improvement Project The Southern Ute Utilities Division will begin work on the Northridge sewer rehabilitation the week of January 12 (weather permitting). Please expect utility staff and contractors to be on-site during business hours of 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Here’s what you need to know: Before the main pipe is installed: We’ll do some prep work, like locating service connections and staging equipment. During pipe installation and construction: Port-a-potties will be available. We will reconnect service lines the same day or early the next day. As work approaches your property: Expect timely, address-specific updates so you know what’s happening every step of the way. Access along your street or driveway may be limited. Suggestions for Preparing for Sewer Outage During Pipe Installation: Before the outage: Fill containers with drinking water, minimize water usage, and move valuables from work areas. During the outage: Do not flush toilets or use drains; keep pets and children away from work zones. After the outage: Check for odors or backups and promptly report any issues.
