The 2026 symposium welcomes film professionals and emerging media makers alike from throughout Indian Country to attend industry-driven sessions, film screenings, networking opportunities, and hands-on workshops. Meals are provided and there is no cost to attend. There will be a spotlight on Resident Alien, which prominently features the Southern Ute Indian Tribe in several episodes. Writer and director Alexandra Lazarovich (Cree) will join us in person for a screening and panel discussion, as well as the show's Special FX / Makeup artist Cayley Giene, who will do a live sfx demonstration. Please join us at the Community Garden located at 115 Ute Street for a Growing Together opportunity to meet neighbors and build social support systems. Any registered tribal voter who expects to be absent on the day of the election, or who, because of serious illness, physical disability, or advanced age is unable to vote in person at the polling place, is eligible to vote by absentee ballot.
