Native Lens Sympsosium
June 13 - June 14
The 2026 symposium welcomes film professionals and emerging media makers alike from throughout Indian Country to attend industry-driven sessions, film screenings, networking opportunities, and hands-on workshops. Meals are provided and there is no cost to attend.
There will be a spotlight on Resident Alien, which prominently features the Southern Ute
Indian Tribe in several episodes. Writer and director Alexandra Lazarovich (Cree) will join us in person for a screening and panel discussion, as well as the show’s Special FX / Makeup artist Cayley Giene, who will do a live sfx demonstration.
