Compassion without Fatigue

“COMPASSION WITHOUT FATIGUE” DATE: WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 14TH TIME: 10:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (Lunch provided) WHERE: Southern Ute Cultural Center and Museum – LARGE CLASSROOM Participants will gain a conceptual framework for: • The differences between secondary trauma, compassion fatigue, and burnout • Ways we develop secondary trauma, compassion fatigue, and burnout — and how to recover • The relationship between mindfulness, boundaries, empathy, and resilience Participants will walk away with protective strategies: o Mindfulness practices o Tools to reinforce intra-personal boundaries o Rapid Resets to use when triggered in the moment o Practicing empathy as a skill (vs. feeling) to protect your emotional reserves o Rituals of Release for personal vitality Please RSVP to Misha Weaver at mweaver@southernute-nsn.gov, Ext. 2207, or at (970) 563-4730. SUBH – Int’l Overdose Awareness Day Walk

Southern Ute Behavioral Health Division would like to spread the message about the tragedy of drug overdose death. Come help us spread the word and honor those we have lost on August 30, noon to 1 PM.  Our collective voices are stronger, louder, and the most impactful when brought together. “Together we can!”  The venue location has been updated to the Sun Ute Recreation Park next to the Skate Park.

Tribal Office Closure Notice In observance of Labor Day, the Permanent Fund, Growth Fund, and SUSS offices will be closed on Monday, September 02, 2024. Normal business hours will resume on Tuesday, September 03, 2024.
