SUIMA – Summer Fun Walk

The Southern Ute Indian Montessori Academy is hosting a Fun Walk on Friday, April 5, 2024, from 1:10-2:00 on the north side of Tribal Council Chambers. A fundraiser Lemonade Stand will also be available to help with upper elementary students raise money for their end of the year field trip to Denver. SunUte – GYM CLOSED

The SunUte gymnasium will be closed for public use due to the Diggin’ It Volleyball Tournaments on April 6th-7th. If you are interested in watching, tickets can be purchased at gymnasium entry.

PRIIP – Dr. Morrison Ditch Gradual Turn On

The Southern Ute Water Resources Division would like to provide PRIIP information regarding the gradual water turn on dates. They are as follows: Dr. Morrison Gradual Turn On – April 8, 2024 BIA Ditches off of the Pine River Canal Turn On – April 22, 2024. Every Friday the Southern Ute Education Department hosts Ute Language classes from 12pm-1pm in the Buckskin Charlie room in the Leonard C. Burch Building. Please feel free to spread the word!

2024 Southern Ute Spring Clean-Up

The Annual Southern Ute Spring Clean-Up Week! April 15-19, 2024  Tribal Members, Tribal Departments, and any tenant of the Southern Ute Indian Housing Authority are eligible for Spring Clean-Up services.  Please schedule your clean up with the responsible tribal department.  Pick-ups are By Appointment Only. There will be no pickups over the weekend or the week after. Tribal Departments will not pick up for non-tribal tenants living in Tribal Member owned rental homes. All pick-ups must be within the boundaries of the Southern Ute Indian Reservation only. ALL ITEMS MUST BE IN ONE AREA and general trash MUST BE BAGGED FOR PICK UP. No Pickups will be made without prior scheduling with the homeowner or department If you have tires, only 4 tires per household will be picked up. NO EXCEPTIONS. No semi-truck or heavy equipment tires accepted. Tribal Departments will not pull personal trailers to the transfer station. All vehicle disposals please call Building Maintenance at 970-563-0265.
