The Financial Plan Update is a priority of Tribal Council and membership. Tribal Members are encouraged to attend in person or via Web-Ex to learn about updates. Attendance is only needed at one meeting. Meetings are closed to enrolled Tribal Members only. November SU MPF Sip, Chat, & Chew

The Southern Ute Multi-Purpose Facility would like to invite all Utes and their families to the November Sip, Chat, and Chew taking place on November 9, 2023, from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at the Multi-Purpose Facility.  This month is sponsored by the Southern Ute Growth Fund and will be a Thanksgiving Dinner.  Please call (970) 563-2640 for more information.

Breastfeeding and Health Luncheon

Join Shining Mountain Health and Wellness staff on Thursday, November 9th, at the MC building for some “Knowledge is POWER” to help prevent diabetes with nutrition through pregnancy and after.  Taught by our dietitian, Lisa Smith, RDN.  Delicious lunch is being prepared.  Raffle afterwards.

Veteran’s Day – Tribal Entity Offices CLOSED

The Southern Ute Permanent Fund, Growth Fund, and SUSS offices will be closed on November 10, 2023, in honor of the federal Veteran’s Day holiday.  Normal business hours will resume on November 13, 2023.

Southern Ute Health Center CLOSED

The Southern Ute Tribal Health Department will be closed on November 10th in observance of Veterans Day. If you have any questions, please call 970-563-4581. Thank you.

2023 Annual Salmon Giveaway

Salmon Fish giveaways are scheduled for 3:00pm on Friday, November 3rd, Friday, November 10th & Friday, November 17th. Tribal Members need only to present their Tribal Identification Card and do NOT need to possess a state fishing permit. The giveaway will take place at the boat ramp starting at 3PM sharp. The Nighthorse staff typically allows participants access to the parking area at 2PM. It is first come first serve as well. Please bring your own containers to hold fish. 2023 Southern Ute Career Fair

The Southern Ute Education Department would like to invite you to this year’s Career Fair. It will be held at the Sky Ute Casino Events Center in Ignacio, Colorado on November 14th from 9AM to 2PM. The Annual Career Fair gives high school students in Southwest Colorado and Northern New Mexico an opportunity to explore different colleges, universities, and career paths. By participating in the career fair, students will learn what opportunities exist within colleges and how this can lead to a specific career pathway. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with young people about your programs, business, internships, or employment. SU MPF Holiday Cooking Class & Potluck

Chef Bill Barbone will demonstrate how to make a Turkey Roll for your Holiday Dinner. The Turkey Roll will be served for lunch. This is a Pot Luck Lunch, the turkey roll and a roasted turkey will be served, participants bring side dishes.
