SU Agriculture Division: Ag Land Survey

The Southern Ute Department of Natural Resources has been tasked with creating a Comprehensive Agricultural Land Management Plan with long-term and short-term ideas for the plan that includes conceptual goals and objectives for further planning and development. The department would like to encourage the Southern Ute tribal membership to complete the survey regarding as-signed tribal agricultural lands. The survey can be obtained by scanning the attached QR code or by visiting the following survey link: https://forms.office.com/r/dTv0KjjKCx through June 30, 2025. SUIMA: School Closed

The Southern Ute Indian Montessori Academy will be closed Wednesday, 3/12 – Friday, 3/14, 2025 for the staff to attend the National American Montessori Society conference in Denver. As the first Accredited Indigenous Montessori school in the nation, we will proudly represent the school, the Tribe, and community. This opportunity will provide the staff with training, workshops, and comradery with other Montessorians from around the country. Whether donations or monetarily, THANK YOU for your support with the many fundraisers we held. Spring is also coming! The Southern Ute Indian Montessori Academy will be closed Monday, 3/17 – Friday, 3/21, 2025 for Spring Break. School will resume on Monday, March 24, 2025

SU Agriculture: Growing Fruit Trees & Shrubs

Southern Ute Agriculture Division would like to remind interested tribal members and other local natives that the Growing Fruit Trees & Shrubs Class will be on March 12, 2025, during the lunch hour, please RSVP to reserve your spot. Classes will be held at the EPD Conference Room at 71 Mike Frost Way. Enter the building on the North side door will be open.
