The Southern Ute Youth Employment Program’s (YEP) job posting is up and is open to Tribal Member Youth 14-17 years of age. The Youth Employment Program’s job posting opened to First Descendants on Monday, April 22, 2024, for the same age range. Youth that apply will be contacted by the YEP Coordinator for interview schedule. SU DNR: Brunot Rare Game Permit Applications

The Wildlife Division will be accepting Brunot Rare Game Applications the month of May.  The drawing will be held in June. SunUte: Summer Swim Lesson Sign-Up 2024

Lake Capote: Season-Long Fishing Derby

Lake Capote will be celebrating their 60th Anniversary this year! The Lake will be hosting a season long Fishing Derby. Southern Ute Bear Dance 2024

The Southern Ute Cultural Preservation Department would like to share the Southern Ute Bear Dance celebration flyer. The celebration will begin on May 24, 2024, with the blessing of the Corral and welcoming the SUIMA students to kick-off the Bear Dance.  The traditional Bear Dance Feast will also take place on Monday, May 27, 2024. The Southern Ute Bear Dance Chief Matthew Box is also seeking Volunteers for the 2024 Bear Dance.
