The Mysto Magic Show will be taking place at the Sky Ute Casino Resort's Event Center from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. This is a free community event. See you there!

The Southern Ute Police Department's Community Resource Division and the Boys and Girls Club of the Southern Ute Indian Tribe are hosting the annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., at the SunUte Park (Field behind SunUte Community Center).   There will be 3 age ranges for the fields 0-4, 5-8 and 9-14.  Bring the family, meet the Easter Bunny and partake in food vendors, games, and tons of other prizes. Southern Ute DSS is bringing in a second class for the Tribal Community! This class, Fatherhood/Motherhood is Sacred class is geared towards Parents and/or family members in the community that would like to engage in a class that discusses cultural preservation while re-vitalizing the sacred roles of Fatherhood and Motherhood. NAFFA or Native American Fatherhood and Families Association has designed this class to emphasize that families are the heart of all cultures. "Our method is to uplift, encourage, assist, and teach. Fulfilling life with hope, gratitude, and understanding has a powerful effect in changing attitudes and behavior. There is no better way. " First class starts March 4th! 2-4 pm 

The Southern Ute Behavioral Health Division will be hosting two Community Narcan Trainings on Monday, March 25th. Please join us to learn about this important, life-saving intervention. The Southern Ute Multi-Purpose Facility will be having their monthly food sale on March 25, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.  Please call (970) 563-2640 to order food or to inquire about the event.

The Southern Ute Multi-Purpose Facility will hold traditional sewing and beading classes on March 26 & March 28, from 10:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. and Wednesday and Thursday, from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.  Call Elise to sign up and get supply list at (970) 563-2641.  Ribbon skirts and dresses are the focus. Beading projects are always welcome.

The Division of Social Services is offering Positive Indian Parenting class in March 2024 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from noon to 3pm. This class is free and open to all. It does require an email address, a smart device and a solid internet connection for the three-hour class. The Southern Ute Indian Montessori Academy upper elementary students are holding an Indian Taco Sale on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, from 11:30-12:45 (or until they’re sold out) in the SUIMA dining hall parking lot. Presale orders can be made by calling 970-563-2751. Please help these students raise money for their end of the year field trip to Denver.
