SU Lands Division: LAT Members Sought

The Department of Natural Resources – Lands Division (Division) seeks voluntary participation in the proposed Land Acquisition Team (LAT). Consideration for this participation is of utmost importance, and we hope that you will consider joining us in this effort. Your willingness and steadfastness to assist the Division in supplying recommendations and guidance on current and future land acquisitions will be highly appreciated by the Southern Ute Tribal Council, tribal staff, and tribal members for generations to come. We highly encourage Tribal member participation. If you are interested, please submit a summary of your intentions and why you should be chosen to sit on this team. The Wildlife Division will be accepting Brunot Rare Game Applications the month of May.  The drawing will be held in June. SU Education: YEP Applications OPEN!

The Southern Ute Youth Employment Program’s (YEP) job posting is up and is open to Tribal Member Youth 14-17 years of age. The Youth Employment Program’s job posting opened to First Descendants on Monday, April 22, 2024, for the same age range. Youth that apply will be contacted by the YEP Coordinator for interview schedule. Lake Capote: Season-Long Fishing Derby

Lake Capote will be celebrating their 60th Anniversary this year! The Lake will be hosting a season long Fishing Derby.
