• SU Tribal Services: Brain Injury Awareness Luncheon

    Please join the Southern Ute Indian Tribe and MINDSOURCE Brain Injury Network for an afternoon of shared food, community support, and meaningful learning. Since brain injuries are often invisible, it can be hard for people to recognize them or truly understand what someone is going through. Join us to find resources, share your experiences, and support community well-being.  All community members and staff are welcome!   • SUBH: Mental Health First Aid Group

    Southern Ute Behavioral Health is offering another round of Mental Health First Aid for adults! This free training is for adults age 18 and up to help learn how to spot signs of mental health challenges in their friends, loved ones, and neighbors, and offer real support. In this training participants learn important information about different kinds of mental health challenges. Learn about signs, symptoms, how to help someone in a mental health crisis, and an action plan for helping people access community resources. Please see the flyer for more details, there will be 8 hours of in person, hands-on instruction, and lunch will be provided.     We're excited to share that Summer Food for Kids is back in Ignacio! Thanks to a partnership between Pine River Shares, the Ignacio Community Library, and Ignacio Out & Equal Alliance, free food bags will be available throughout the summer for children and youth ages 18 and younger.
