Shining Mountain Health and Wellness is offering an informational presentation titled “Native American Cultural Awareness in Perinatal Care” for our January Breastfeeding and Parenting Support Class. If you are a parent, currently breastfeeding, or want to support other parents and families, please come over and join Southern Ute Shining Mountain Health and Wellness on Thursday, January 11th, from 12-1pm, Downstairs in the Mouache Capote Building. Positive Indian Parenting Class

Cradleboard Workshop

Cradleboard Workshop Southern Ute Tribal Members are invited to join the Cultural Preservation Department for a Cradleboard Workshop with Ms. Jennifer GoodTracks! The workshop will be held every Thursday in January from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm in the Small Craftroom at the Southern Ute Cultural Center and Museum. White Bison’s Medicine Wheel & 12-Step Program

The Behavioral Health Division is pleased to announce the beginning a new cycle of White Bison’s Medicine Wheel and 12-Step Program every Thursday, in-person, from 5:30pm to 7:00pm at the Southern Ute Cultural Center & Museum. This is in addition to the on-going Warrior Down Wellbriety Talking Circle held virtually via TEAMS every Monday from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. All Southern Ute Indian Tribal Members are welcome to attend the upcoming Tribal Member Experience Portal Training and Laptop Sign-Up Events on January 16, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., and on January 17, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Southern Ute Growth Fund Building. SUDEP staff will be answering all technical questions, helping tribal members sign into their tribal member experience accounts, password resets and helping sign up those individuals who have not received their free Dell laptop from SUDEP (www.southernute-nsn.gov/SUDEP).
