• SMHW: Breastfeeding & Parent Support Class

    Join Shining Mountain Health and Wellness on Thursday April 10th from 12-1pm, downstairs in the MCB Building for our monthly Breastfeeding and Parenting Support Class. We will be talking about the effects of alcohol on pregnancy and breastfeeding. Come learn something new, share your experiences, and share a nutritious lunch. See you there!

  • SU Behavioral Health: Ribbon Skirt Workshop

    Southern Ute Behavioral Health Division would like to announce Ribbon Skirt Workshops with Jennifer Goodtracks.  The classes are free to youth ages 14-18 and all materials are provided.  Classes will be held April 10,11, and 14 at the Multi-Purpose Facility from 5:30-7:30 and will be limited to the first 8 participants.  We hope to see you there!

  • SUBGC/SUPD: Easter Egg Hunt

    Boys and Girls Club is helping the Southern Ute Police Department in hosting their annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 12, 2025. There will be 3 age ranges for the fields 0-5, 6-9 and 10-14. Each field will have prize eggs with a piece of paper inside stating what prize they win. The kids will take the paper to the designated table to retrieve it. Prizes can be any size!

  • SUBH: Breath & Movement Group

    Breath and Movement Group is Kicking Off in April! Join Southern Ute Behavioral Health every week to gently stretch and move in a supportive, peer led space. Bring curiosity and awareness to the mind and body to learn new coping skills. Decrease stress while increasing vitality and well-being. Please bring an exercise mat, if possible. No prior experience needed! Open to all Native American Community members, age 18+! Space is available yet limited! Facilitators: Tamara D. Turner (she/her), PhD, Mental Health Capacity Building through Culture & the Arts; Rachel Shockley (she/her), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Substance Abuse Therapist
