The Southern Ute Cultural Center & Museum (SUCCM) is excited to announce the Fifth Annual Pino Nuche Indigenous Art Market and Juried Show held at the Sky Ute Casino and Resort Event Center on Friday, August 7, through Sunday, August 9. The Pino Nuche Indigenous Art Market and Juried Show allows for Native artists from all over the United States a location to sell their various art pieces and showcase their beautiful work in a juried show format. Applications for both the Juried Show, Crafters/Non-Juried Show entries are now available on our website, southernutemuseum.org (or follow the QR Code on our flyers!) Important Dates: Early Bird & Juried Show Application Deadline – Friday, July 3. Crafters and Non-Juried Show Application Deadline – Friday, August 6. (Onsite Registration will be available.) SUCCM truly believes it can affect positive community relations by affirming the Indigenous perspective directly from Indigenous voices. The Southern Ute Education Department is putting together its Annual Film Making Workshop for Southern Ute and First Descendant High School Students. This will be a two-week camp with limited spots. D&E Business Solutions in partnership with Southern Ute Economic Development presents "Starting Smart: Business Foundations for Tribal Entrepreneurs". This workshop series focuses on building a business the right way - from setup and structure to money management, taxes, marketing, and long-term growth. The workshops are open to Southern Ute Tribal Members and their families.
