The Southern Ute Tribe will be hosting the Native American Fish and Wildlife Society Youth Practicum this year June 22-26th, 2026. Who can apply? 10th-12th grade (14-17yrs) Native Youth interested in Natural Resources What do we learn? You will learn more about natural resource professions, tribal fish and wildlife management in the Southwest & professional development. How much does it cost? Free! The Southern Ute Indian Montessori Academy is accepting new and re-enrolling student registration forms for the 2026-2027 school year. Registration packets can be found at www.suima.org or calling 970-563-0253.

We're excited to share that Summer Food for Kids is back in Ignacio! Thanks to a partnership between Pine River Shares, the Ignacio Community Library, and Ignacio Out & Equal Alliance, free food bags will be available throughout the summer for children and youth ages 18 and younger. Program Details June 2 – August 6 Ignacio Community Library • Food bags available every Tuesday - Starting TOMORROW, JUNE 2! • 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM • No cost and no registration required Who Can Participate?
