SU Education: Study Abroad Trip Sign-Up LIVE

The Southern Ute Education Department is thrilled to announce an incredible opportunity for Southern Ute high school students, ages 15-18, to participate in a study abroad program this summer! This program is designed to provide students with a unique cultural experience, enhance their educational journey, and broaden their global perspectives. Participants will have the chance to immerse themselves in a new culture, learn from diverse educational systems, and develop valuable skills that will benefit their future endeavors. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to explore the world and gain a deeper understanding of different cultures. For more details about the program, including eligibility criteria and application deadlines, please refer to the attached flyer. Southern Ute Education Applications are currently being accepted through February 14, 2025.  The AFS-USA Application is due March 1, 2025. SU Education – FLC Campus Visit Sign-Up

Join Southern Ute Education for a visit to Fort Lewis College on Friday, February 28! Open to Southern Ute Tribal members, 1st Descendants, and JOM students in grades 5-12. Tour the campus, visit the Native American Student Center and Art Gallery, enjoy lunch, and learn about college life. Save the Dates for next month's two Ute Storytelling events! Please join the Southern Ute Cultural Center & Museum which will feature traditional Ute and winter themed stories told by Ute Elders.       Saturday, February 15, 2025    10:30 am - 12:00 pm  This event will be located in the Large Classroom at the Southern Ute Cultural Center and Museum.
