Lake Capote: Season-Long Fishing Derby

Lake Capote will be celebrating their 60th Anniversary this year! The Lake will be hosting a season long Fishing Derby. SunUte: Summer Pool Hours

SunUte would like to share Summer Pool Hours information with the community.  Pool hours will be Monday- Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 7:45 p.m.  Saturday and Sunday 10:00 a.m. - 4:45 p.m.  The pool will not be available during Swimming Lessons on Monday, Wednesday, or Fridays 9:00-11:15 a.m.  There is one lap lane available for Adult lap swim only.  For more information, please call Abel Velasquez, Fitness Director, at (970) 563-2651.

Utilities: Shut Off Day

SU Ag Division: Hay Production & Field Tour

The Agriculture Division is hosting an Ag class on Hay Production along with a short Field Tour of the Pivot Project on June 5, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Custom Farm Shop located at 655 CR 517. SUHC – CLOSED ALL AFTERNOON – 1st Thursday of Each Month

The Southern Ute Health Center will be closed every first Thursday of the month from 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.  All phone calls will be managed by the triage line. If you have any questions, please call the Southern Ute Health Center at (970) 563-4581 and select Option 1.

Elders Services: Community Appreciation Celebration

7 rooms have been reserved for elders who are interested in attending the Community Appreciation Celebration in Montrose, CO, at the Ute Indian Museum.  Van will depart Elders Services on June 7, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.  First come, first serve. Please call Elder Services at (970) 563-2309 to inquire or to request your name be added to the activities list.

SUBGC – Summer Club

The 2024 Summer Club for the Boys and Girls Club of the Southern Ute Indian Tribe will be June 10, 2024 - August 9, 2024.  No club July 4-12, 2024.  Ages 6-18, limited space available. Tribal member meeting is April 30, 2024 @ 5:30 p.m. at the Mouache Room at SunUte Community Center.
