SU Wildlife Seeks Bids for (5) Bison – Southern Ute Tribal Members Only

The Wildlife Resource Management Division will be collecting sealed bids from Tribal Members only for (5) Live Bison. They will all be females (3-9 yrs. old) 100% grass fed and are up to date on vaccines. Bids are set at a $500 minimum and must be submitted by January 31st, 2024, by 5:00pm. All buyers will be required to sign a Sales Agreement and agree to the Terms and Conditions of the sale. For more information, please call the Wildlife Division at (970) 563-0130.  

SU Education – Mini Law School Registration

The Southern Ute Education Department would like to encourage Southern Ute tribal members and staff to take an opportunity to get a taste of law school or experience a lifelong learning opportunity with CU Boulder’s online Mini Law course. Free to Tribal Membership and Tribal employees, this online course is designed for non-lawyers, doesn’t have assigned reading or homework, and offers a certificate of completion if four or more sessions are viewed. You can participate by livestreaming the lecture 6-7:30pm MDT or on-demand at any time of your choosing. All Southern Ute Indian Tribal Members are welcome to attend the upcoming Tribal Member Experience Portal Training and Laptop Sign-Up Events on January 16, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., and on January 17, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Southern Ute Growth Fund Building. SUDEP staff will be answering all technical questions, helping tribal members sign into their tribal member experience accounts, password resets and helping sign up those individuals who have not received their free Dell laptop from SUDEP (www.southernute-nsn.gov/SUDEP).
