Southern Ute Indian Tribe Election Board Notice Absentee Ballot Available (Mail-out, walk-in, and local hand delivery) Absentee Ballot Request Deadline Wednesday, July 01, 2026 By 5:00 P.M. P11-5-101. Eligibility for Absentee Ballot. Any registered tribal voter who expects to be absent on the day of the election, or who, because of serious illness, physical disability, or advanced age is unable to vote in person at the polling place, is eligible to vote by absentee ballot. P11-5-102. Application for Absentee Ballot. (1) An absentee ballot must be requested by the voter himself on the application form provided by the Election Board by letter or by telephone call, stating the applicant’s name and address, and the reason he will be unable to vote in person. SUCCM: Pino Nuche Indigenous Art Market & Juried Show Registration OPEN

The Southern Ute Cultural Center & Museum (SUCCM) is excited to announce the Fifth Annual Pino Nuche Indigenous Art Market and Juried Show held at the Sky Ute Casino and Resort Event Center on Friday, August 7, through Sunday, August 9. The Pino Nuche Indigenous Art Market and Juried Show allows for Native artists from all over the United States a location to sell their various art pieces and showcase their beautiful work in a juried show format. Applications for both the Juried Show, Crafters/Non-Juried Show entries are now available on our website, southernutemuseum.org (or follow the QR Code on our flyers!) SU Wildlife: Lone Mesa State Park Permit Requests OPEN

Lone Mesa State Park Access Permits Available for SUIT Tribal Members Lone Mesa State Park is located within the Brunot Treaty area. It lies 23 miles north of the town of Dolores and encompasses 11,760 acres of incredibly scenic land, ranging in elevation from about 7,200 feet to just over 9,000 feet. A high-quality Special Use Permit program allows limited public hunting during the big game seasons. The Southern Ute Wildlife Division will have six (6) Lone Mesa State Park Access Permits available to Southern Ute tribal member hunters for the 2026 Hunting Season. Permit holders will be allowed choose one established hunt season to access Lone Mesa State Park. Season dates and weapon restrictions will apply. The access permits will either be available for first-come first-serve, or through a draw if there is sufficient interest. Deadline for sign-up is Friday, July 17th , 2026. Ignacio Out & Equal Alliance: Summer Food for Kids

We're excited to share that Summer Food for Kids is back in Ignacio! Thanks to a partnership between Pine River Shares, the Ignacio Community Library, and Ignacio Out & Equal Alliance, free food bags will be available throughout the summer for children and youth ages 18 and younger.
