Please join Shining Mountain Health and Wellness for our June Breastfeeding and Parenting Support Class on Thursday June 18th from 12-1pm at Ute Park. Ignacio Community Library will be there to share all about their 1000 Books by 5 Program. Free books for all ages and lunch will be provided. The Southern Ute Cultural Center & Museum and Marias Bookshop will be hosting an author event & book signing for the former Chairwoman and Chief Judge Pearl E. Casias. Casias will discuss her recently published memoir Red Woman; My Southern Ute Journey From Poverty to Wall Street. The Event will be held at the Southern Ute Cultural Center & Museum’s Large Classroom, starting at 6:00PM with light refreshments.
