Presidents Day

Following the Proclamation of the State of Local Disaster by Chairman Sage on October 25, 2026, the Southern Ute Emergency Operations Center (EOC) continues to assess flooding damage within the exterior boundaries of the Southern Ute Indian Reservation. The EOC has been in operation to coordinate the overall response to ensure the safety of the community as we experience severe monsoon storms, flooding, and infrastructure damage. The EOC remains staffed with incident command trained personnel that lead the major service level components of the Tribe—drawing personnel from the Growth Fund and the Permanent Fund. The EOC Command Center is providing this PSA as an update on current operations through today. Updates on the response and continued PSAs will continue to be distributed regarding resources and services that have been made available to those impacted by the flooding recently proclaimed disaster. Should you have any questions related to this PSA, please contact the Southern Ute Tribal Chairman’s Office at (970) 563-0100 or the Tribal Information Services Department at (970) 563-4702.
