    The Southern Ute Education Center would like to invite Southern Ute Tribal members, Southern Ute First Descendant and Johnson-O'Malley students and families to welcome in the new school year with us. Please join us Today Wednesday, August 26th between 5pm-7pm for our Open House. Dinner will be served and great prizes will be offered. Please note, the incoming Chairman will not be determined until the Run Off Special Election concludes on Thursday, August 27, 2026. This term will run through November 30, 2026, completing the remainder of Chairman Melvin J. Baker's term.
