SU Utilities/FLC: Fundamentals of Water Operations
A special shout-out to our Southern Ute Utilities colleagues who collaborated with Fort Lewis College to design and develop this training, held each Thursday in May. This effort reflects strong collaboration across the team, and we are grateful for the time, expertise, and leadership of Chris Musgrave, Madilenia Chavarillo, and Julian Baker. The Fundamentals of Water Operations begins Thursday, May 7, in Durango, with Southern Ute Tribal Members receiving first preference. This free, hands-on training was shaped by water professionals from across our region, including the Southern Ute Utilities Division’s water operators, who helped design the curriculum and invite you to be part of it. Free. Hands-on. Four Thursdays. Train in real facilities with real operators and explore real career pathways—including opportunities in Tribal Nation water operations. Dates: May 7, 14, 21 & 28 Time: Thursdays, 9:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Location: Fort Lewis College Center for Innovation, downtown Durango Scan the bar code or enroll at gowork.fortlewis.edu or contact pfeeley@fortlewis.edu for more information.
