SU Education – Short Film Showing

Over the summer, three Southern Ute tribal students participated in the Film Making Workshop hosted by the Education Department, State of Colorado Office of Film, Television and Media, and the Gates Family Foundation.
Nate, Elliott, and DJ Hendren worked on creating a film to feature the Tribe’s skate park, from the planning to the outcome for the community.
We will be showing the film at the Ignacio High School Auditorium, April 23, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. followed by a Q & A opportunity. Before the showing, the Tribal Business Exploration Program will be holding a Frito Pie Dinner Fundraiser starting at 6:00 p.m.
