Dolores Canyon Country Trip Sign-Up

July 16 - August 2

The Dolores River Boating Advocates are working to protect the Dolores River Canyons from Dolores to the Utah state line. They have been working with several members of the three Ute tribes to help educate community members, but to also reconnect folks simply with the landscape. The Advocates are hosting a family camping trip – open to Ute tribal members and their families from the three Ute communities. They will be providing transportation from Cortez, tents, sleeping bags, etc. are all provided. So are food, games, and paddle boards.
Hosts of this trip will provide information on current conservation efforts for this landscape. All meals from Friday Dinner to Sunday Breakfast are included!
Transportation will be available. Mileage for personal vehicles is not covered. Lodging and camping options available at Camp V with no cost to participants. Camping equipment (tent, sleeping bag and pad will be provided upon request)
