Description

The Annex Building has proven to be an efficient office space despite its age and construction. At one time the future of this building was uncertain. Today this building houses many divisions for the Department of Natural Resources such as Lands, GIS, Permits and ROW, Surveying, Wildlife division and also houses Tribal Planning, Tribal Housing and C&PM. With the lack of office space on campus, this building has risen to the task and needs to be properly maintained to continue to be an asset. The users of this building interface with the public for, lands, housing and permits and it’s imperative that its accessibility be improved. To provide the needed accessibility, it’s been recommended by the Property & Facilities Department to install an elevator, replace the ADA ramp and hand railings at steps and install an ADA operating front entrance.
